Installation & Electrical Safety

Prepare wiring before starting water flow: Ensure output wiring, ballasts or any connected controllers and insulation are correctly installed and secured before allowing water to turn the turbine. Do not run the generator with open/unprotected wiring.
Keep hands and objects clear: While running, the turbine's rotating component spins at high speed. Keep hands and tools away from the rotating impeller and shaft to avoid injury.
Protect from water exposure: Although bearings have oil seals, the generator head should be kept covered and protected from direct rain or prolonged splashing.
